The Samsara collection brings to life authentic antique art from the early 19th century, discovered in our travels. The title of the piece was "Samsara" or rebirth, denoting the joyful and organic mood of the design. This fine French tapestry, woven in the time honored tradition of the Flanders region, incorporates plush cotton yarns intricately interspersed to create the dramatic designs in rich, earthy tones. The generously sized, unlined coverlet is bordered on all sides in a deep garnet tone. Standard bed sham repeats the striking motif of the coverlet with stylized frame edges. Euro sham interprets smaller decorative elements with garnet border and cording.
