Though curly tresses can still range from fine to thick, ropy to springy or coarse to soft. Your toughest adversary is humidity, which leaves curls frizzy and fried. For optimal results, use in the shower. Apply liberally on soaking wet hair. Saturate hair with product, in sections, while smoothing and stretching with fingers or a large-tooth comb. Lightly re-wet the hair without rinsing out product. The result you see wet is how your hair will set. Air-dry or set wet curls under a portable hood dryer, then fluff and shake for maximum curl effect.

Once the product is in your hair, resist the urge to touch the curls. Finger combing, fluffing, and any contact can ruin the natural curl pattern, resulting in frizzy, undefined curls. You must use a lot of these styling products in order to get the desired results. This is not a product that you use a dime size amount of. Saturate each section with product for the ultimate curls. It is important to stretch each section of hair while applying styling products. This process allows the product to evenly distribute along each hair to form beautiful curls. After the product is applied, curls will naturally begin to form. Do not comb through the curls again! Leave the hair alone as it dries into its natural curls. Letting your hair air dry or sitting under a portable hood dryer is the best way to dry curly hair. If you must use a hair dryer, use a diffuser attachment and try to touch the hair as little as possible. Fluff or shake curly hair never comb or brush dry curls. Keep styling tools to a minimum use a wide tooth comb or open hands and fingertips only. Do not towel dry curly hair. This breaks up the natural curl pattern and leads to frizz. It is best to have the hair soaking wet before drying.
