You will need a double boiler for this. You can improvise one using an old kitchen pot or a candle pouring pot placed on a large cake pan or roasting pan filled with water. Add the soy wax and melt till it is slushy. Add the fragrance and dye and mix well with a wooden spoon preferably. Scrape the old wax residue from the wooden tray or bowl. Take out the tin liner and use a butter knife to pry out the old wicks. Position the new wicks evenly along the liner with the glue dots. Place in the center of the tray. Pour the melted wax into the container and let it set. Once the wax has hardened trim the wicks to the desired length. Let the candle sit for a day or two before lighting. Soy wax is biodegradable and water soluble so all utensils can be washed with soap and water or placed in the dishwasher. Soy wax may be melted in the microwave oven in place of a double boiler, howeever, care should be taken not to overhead the wax. Make sure the dye chips are completely melted before cooling down the wax and the fragrance is fully dispersed.
