The Ojon tree is native to the Western Honduran Rainforest, home to the Miskito Indians. For more than 500 years, these indigenous people have extracted oil from the fruit-like nuts of the Ojon tree using it for a variety of hair and body treatments. Ojon's founder formed a partnership with the Tawira tribe of the Miskito who grow, harvest and share in the profits of Ojon hair care.

Ojon oil in its purest form: a highly concentrated, salon-style treatment that instantly enhances healthy hair, hydrates and rebuilds distressed or damaged hair - even smooths formerly frizzy hair! As you warm a dab of the treatment between your palms, it turns into a conditioning oil that you massage into the hair and scalp; in 20 minutes, shampoo and condition with your regular Ojon products - your hair will be shinier, softer, healthier-looking than you ever imagined! Also can be used as a deep conditioner. One jar offers 5 months of weekly treatments, depending on hair length. Native wood scoop-comb applicator included.

As a Deep Conditioning Treatment: Warm 1 teaspoon full in the palms of your hands (more for longer hair) and distribute onto to dry hair from scalp to ends, leave on for 10-20 minutes, and shampoo well. As a Leave-In Conditioner: Warm a small amount in the palms of your hands until it becomes a lightweight oil, and distribute thoroughly through towel-dried hair. Style as usual. As a Shine Enhancer: Heat a very small amount in the palms of your hands and smooth over the surface of dry-styled hair.
