Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and you are probably already planning for the holiday. Whether you’ll be hosting family and friends for a large meal, or bringing a dish to someone else’s home, you’ll want to be dressed for the occasion. Because the holiday is so focused on food, family and maybe even some football, cute and comfortable is the order of the day.
Here are some ideas, as well as some of our favorite pieces, from our latest clothing collections:
Tunic Top With Leggings
Pairing a tunic top with leggings is a classic approach to easy, comfortable style. The silhouette is both flattering and a bit more formal than just slacks and a shirt. Plus, leggings with a bit of stretch allow you to enjoy your turkey and pumpkin pie just a little bit more.
Start the holiday season on a warm and cheery note in our Felicity Faux Suede Tunic in Red Ochre. The soft material and criss-cross seams are both comfortable and flattering. This tunic even has pockets, something that can come in handy while engaged in party prep or commuting. Pair with our Metro Leggings, which come in a full range of warm, fall colors.
For something a bit more formal, consider our Scarlette Tunic with burnout velvet roses and shimmering sequins on deep red chiffon. Pair this long, flowing top over a pair of our Have to Have Leggings for an elegant holiday look.
There’s a good chance shall be on your feet a lot this Thanksgiving, so you’ll want your shoes to both look and feel great. The main challenge for the season is paying attention to weather patterns: While you may be able to get away with warm weather shoes, there is also a chance of freezing temperatures, at least in some regions.
If the weather is warm where you’re at, consider our Corso Como Junip Wedges. Made from buttery soft materials and a comfortable 2 1/4 inch heel, these sandals will go great with your tunic and leggings ensemble. In need of something warmer? Tuck your leggings into a pair of suede Brooklyn Boots.
Try out a Topper
Speaking of tricky weather, layering can be one of your best strategies for dealing with fluctuating temperatures, particularly if you’ll be in and out of the kitchen. Our Mara Topper is an autumnal delight and would pair great with a t-shirt or light blouse. Cardigans are another option that pair wonderfully with leggings.
