Cheat Sheet for Buying Sheets

Sleeping in a cozy, plush bed is one of the most restorative things you can do for your body…and mind. That's why it's so important to select the type of sheets that perfectly suit your needs and taste. Utility is just as important as the beauty of your sheets!

Read on to discover the hidden and not-so-hidden benefits of the three main types of sheets in our bedding collection.

Luxury Bamboo

Sheets made of soft, touchable bamboo are a wonderful choice for a myriad of reasons not the least of which is they keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter because bamboo is a natural thermo-regulator.

The strong, breathable fiber is both resilient and durable, so you'll get comfortable wear from them sunrise to sunset and all through the year. They are also ideal for sleepers with sensitive skin because they have hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.

Sateen

The obvious advantage of sateen sheets is their luxurious sheen and rich appeal. They drape beautifully (picture luxury hotel sheets) and feel soft to the touch thanks to the quality of the cotton we use and the expert way it is woven.

Percale

Percale is a tightly woven cotton fabric with fine texture and matte finish. Derived from the centuries-old Persian word "pargalal," percale has a crisp appearance (rather than drapey) and is cool in summer and spring.

Cotton percale is a durable weave that stands the test of time. A bed made with solid or printed percale sheets has a crisp, refreshing feeling.
