It's such a delight to be partnering with Soft Surroundings. I've been a loyal customer for many years, and my Christmas wish list always includes Soft Surroundings items. Selecting just a few items for my collection was so difficult, because I love so many of the Soft Surroundings things.

The Juliana chest has taken Gustavian style and interpreted it in a fresh new way with a streamlined frame and straight lines. It would work well as a night stand, a bedroom chest, in an office or even behind your sofa. It has a tailored look that works well in any room. I love a versatile piece of furniture.

The shade on the Dominique buffet lamp is so delectable. The pattern and trim gives it a beautiful charm, while the twisted gold base adds even more detail. I think they work well not only on a buffet, but in other places as well.

Candlestick lamps truly are some of my favorite types of lighting, and this candlestick buffet lamp has oodles of charm. They work so beautifully all over my house, and I know they are going to add elegance wherever I use them. Right now, they are on the shelf in my hallway, so I get to enjoy them every day as I walk past.

These St. Lucie bottles remind me of antique demijohn bottles originally used to ferment wine, mead or cider. The blue color gives the bottles a bit of a coastal look. The large size means they work on a buffet or chest, but also on the floor. A nice added touch is the texture of the bottles. They are perfect for my dining room, where I want something large with presence on my buffet table.

Botanical prints are classics, and I love the way they add color to a room. The Fiori medley framed prints have all of the color and style of a traditional botanical print, but they are oversized and fun at the same time. They have added so much freshness and a happy feel to my home. I've used them in my breakfast room, and everyone comments on how much they love them.

The Elaine side table is so pretty. I love a bit of gold in every room. This gold table has elegant simplicity. It has little visual weight making it just perfect for so many places in your home. I love how it works in a traditional room, or even one that is more transitional. I love the soft curves and the glass top. It's perfect for a bedside table, a coffee table for a settee or a side table. I was planning to use the Elaine side table as a side table, until I put it in front of my Louis 16th French settee. I love having it as a little coffee table, so I'm keeping it here for now.

Trays are a trick I use to corral a vignette. It's a great idea to have them in different sizes so you have one for different uses. White and gold are such a classic look, and the gold is such a nice backdrop for most anything you want to display in the tray. What will you put in yours? I love using the larger tray to display my antique dishes, while the smallest one is perfect to contain my jewelry. I use the Cadiz trays (set of 3) all over my house. Everything looks better sitting on a gold backdrop, N'est-ce pas?

I love the Emil arch antique mirror because it reminds me so much of an antique arched window. I think a set of these would be perfect on a wall with no windows to add some fabulous detail and to reflect the light. I'm using mine as a full-length mirror in my bedroom.
