"Traditional with a twist" describes Jenni Holmes's style. She designed her home and created her blog as a way to marry her love of design with working from home and raising two daughters. Her approach is comfortable and cozy with an elegant feeling.

Ashleigh Accent Chair

This chair is a great piece to add to a little corner spot. Or if you have two of them, I think they would make beautiful host chairs at the end of a table. The nailheads add an elegant touch and the overall shape is clean, yet sophisticated.

Boxwood is a great greenery that can be used year-round. It looks just as pretty in the summer as it does with holiday décor in December! These are potted in narrow vases that fit nicely in space-challenged spots like narrow mantels or tops of pianos, dressers or buffets layered with other pieces. I have also used them on our entryway table and in the built-in bookshelves on either side of our fireplace.

The simple yet elegant shape of this mirror would be at home in a traditional space, a farmhouse style and even modern décor. The size works very well above a dresser or buffet and would also fit in an entryway. I love how the dark frame pops against the wallpaper here in our dining room.

I have loved architectural prints for as long as I can remember. I have always been drawn to building exteriors as well as their interiors. I also love looking at the details drawn so perfectly on an architectural print. And due to their black and white colors and vintage feel, they can be used in just about any space. Large ones can be used in groups to make a statement on a wall and smaller ones can be sprinkled throughout a home to add a special touch.

Bergamo Rug

This runner has a palette of dark navy, black and charcoal tones, paired with whites, creams and browns. The mix works well against the white walls and wood floors of our home. We went with the runner but it is also available in larger rug sizes!

Marissa Rug

I am a fan of rugs that have a timeless, vintage feel to them both aesthetically and practically, and with two kids and a dog I appreciate how well they hide stains! This one has a brighter vibe than some vintage-style rugs so I recommend using it in a room in which you want to add some fun. We used it in our living room to keep the space from looking too stuffy alongside more traditional pieces like the piano and tufted sofa. The color adds excitement, yet the style is elegant and marries well with the traditional feeling in the room. Pair it with some fun blue pillows and artwork to liven things up.

Still Giclée Framed Art

These paintings are light, airy and soothing and they add a soft touch to any space. The simple gray-washed wood frames add weight and ground them. They can be used alone or together if you have a large space you want to fill.
