Return, Exchange and Cancellation Policy

Exchanges (Does not include furniture. See below.)
While our goal is for you to be completely happy with every purchase from Soft Surroundings, should you desire an exchange, please use the convenient shipping label included in your package. All same product (different size/color) are rushed to you free of charge. Please be sure to include your packing slip.

Returns (Does not include furniture. See below.)
Our number one goal is to make sure that you are thrilled with your purchase from Soft Surroundings. We always want you to be satisfied. Send any unlaundered item back for refund or exchange, up to 365 days and we'll do what it takes to make it right. Unlaundered merchandise will receive a prompt exchange or refund.

We want to make this as convenient for you as possible. We offer two options for returning a purchase:

1. Choose your own carrier for return.
a. Please fill out the return/exchange form on the back of the packing slip. If returning a gift, be sure to complete the Gift Return Section.
b. Record your "reason for return" next to each returned item on the back of the packing slip.
c. Use the "RETURN ADDRESS LABEL" provided for you on the front of the packing slip.
d. Take the parcel to the carrier of your choice.
As always, we recommend purchasing insurance if returning on your own.

2. Use our prepaid UPS label for return.
a. Please fill out the return/exchange form on the back of the packing slip. If returning a gift, be sure to complete the Gift Return Section.
b. Record your "reason for return" next to each returned item on the back of the packing slip.
c. Use the prepaid "MERCHANDISE RETURN LABEL" enclosed in this package.
d. Take the package to any location of The UPS Store, UPS drop box, UPS Authorized Shipping Outlet, Office Depot, Staples or leave the package with any UPS driver. To find the nearest location to you or to track your return package, go to UPS.com or call 1-800-742-5877.
e. There is no return postage fee on exchanges for the same item, different size or color. For any other returns, in the Domestic US a $6.95 return postage fee will be deducted from your refund. For returns from Alaska and Hawaii a $10.95 return postage fee will be deducted from your refund.

Original processing/shipping fees are non-refundable. Returns should be accompanied by a packing list. Without a packing list, a merchandise credit will be issued for the current price of the item(s) returned. We care about your feedback, so please take a moment and let us know the reason for your return in the appropriate spot on the packing slip.

Sorry, we cannot accept returns on personalized/monogrammed items. Standard return policy does not apply to furniture purchases. Home furnishings cannot be returned without having return authorization number. Please see below for more details.

Cancels (Does not include furniture. See below.)
Once an item has shipped, cancellation will not be permitted. Shipment refusal for reasons other than damage, defect, or mis-shipment may result in a 25% refusal penalty fee.

Furniture Returns/Exchanges
Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged or defective merchandise, we encourage you to contact our Customer Service department within 7 days and a representative will be happy to arrange a return or exchange for you. Exchanges, credits and refunds issued will be for the item purchase price only. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping charges are nonrefundable, and return shipping fees may apply.

Furniture Prepaid UPS label for return.
For furniture returns in the Domestic US, a $10.95 return postage fee will be deducted from your refund. For returns from Alaska and Hawaii a $15.95 return postage fee will be deducted from your refund.

If you wish to return a product based on preference, a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

Furniture Special Orders
At Soft Surroundings, we strive to give our customers the ability to customize their home furnishings and create a look that is truly one of a kind. Because each custom piece is made to order, custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. All custom orders are non-cancellable beyond 48 hours of order placement. If a special order is cancelled or refused, 50% of the order total will be forfeited.

Furniture Cancels
Once an item has shipped, cancellation will not be permitted. Shipment refusal for reasons other than damage, defect, or mis-shipment may result in a 10% restocking fee plus forfeiture of shipping charges.

Furniture Warranty
We take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. All Soft Surroundings seating and upholstery carries a Lifetime Warranty on the frame construction that covers manufacturer defect. The Lifetime Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, seat cushions, or fabrics.
